Abstract
This chapter examines the strategic leadership requirements for successful AI integration in higher education institutions. Through analysis of five critical domains-enrollment management, resource allocation, financial planning, research management, and administrative operations-it explores how educational leaders can guide technological transformation while preserving institutional values. The discussion addresses AI integration approaches, organizational transformations, and leadership competencies needed for success. The analysis reveals that implementation requires careful attention to change management, stakeholder engagement, and ethical considerations. The chapter provides frameworks and recommendations for leaders navigating technological change, emphasizing the balance between innovation and tradition. Strategic guidance and future predictions help institutions prepare for AI adoption while maintaining educational excellence.
