iPads in UAE University Classrooms: Implications for Teaching and Learning

Abstract

This paper describes a research study that aimed at investigating students' perceptions of the advantages of iPad use for learning; challenges facing successful use; and preferences for iPad use to support their needs and enhance their learning experiences. The paper discusses the background and rationale for the research, provides a relevant literature review, and describes the research design, data collection and data analysis procedures. It presents an overview of the tentative results that are currently under analysis.
