Abstract

This study highlights the pedagogical values of the verses of inheritance in the Noble Quran for its importance in people's lives, where a problem arose from some people's perception that dividing the inheritance is an injustice an inequal to some groups, so it was necessary to connect it to the Sharia purposes related, and answer the expected question; What are the pedagogical values that are included in the Inheritance verses. The study relied on the methodology of induction, analysis and deduction, by referring to the authenticated sources; texts of the Holy Qur’an, various interpretations, especially those concerned with jurisprudence in the Qur’an, books of the Prophet’s hadith, and recent research dealing with the topic or similar topics. The study relies on the theory that the Sharia rulings often include a pedagogical intent that appears through the texts imposing these provisions. The study defined the inheritance lingually and in Jurisprudence terminology, showed its importance, and extracted a set of pedagogical values in the bequeathing of offspring, ancestors, and siblings. The most important results of this study are that the verses of inheritance contained important pedagogical values, that have positive effects on the individual and society And that the application of these principles would establish the rules of love and interconnectedness in societies, and that the division of inheritance is based on the principle of justice, which depends on the delivery of rights to people to the extent of the tasks and duties assigned to them.
