Abstract
The Computing Professional Skills Assessment (CPSA) is the only direct method for assessing the ABET Computing Accreditation Commission's professional skills learning outcomes simultaneously for undergraduate program-level purposes. This paper presents results from the first implementation of the method with graduate students. Findings indicate that graduate students achieved the target performance level more than half the time and that graduates students rated the method very highly and appreciated the activity as a method to help them achieve the professional skills learning outcomes. This implementation of the CPSA is the first stage of the evolution of using the CPSA as both a teaching and assessment method at the graduate level.
