Abstract
Virtual communication has become crucial to educators’ engagement in online learning environments. Therefore, educators must understand how to enhance teachers’ engagement, motivation, satisfaction, and well-being and ensure their presence in the online/blended learning approach. This chapter aims to explore the impact of virtual communication on teachers’ satisfaction, motivation, and well-being within the context of professional development. Based on best practices, this chapter highlights strategies and approaches for effectively leveraging virtual communication in online and blended professional development programs. By examining successful case studies and practical insights, educators will gain valuable knowledge on how virtual communication can enhance their satisfaction, motivation, and overall well-being in professional development.
