Abstract
‘Fly Me’ is a smart application designed to alleviate travel stress by keeping travelers informed and prepared. Recognizing that the pressures of travel can lead to forgotten essentials and missed flights, especially for inexperienced or busy individuals, students at Zayed University developed this app to streamline flight management. The app was meticulously crafted using a prototype process, involving phases of requirement gathering, swift design iterations, prototype building, feedback incorporation, and refining until user satisfaction was achieved, culminating in the final implementation. ‘Fly Me’ offers a user-friendly interface where travelers can access airport regulations, explore duty-free offers, understand airport processes, gauge waiting times, and receive real-time updates on flight status, delays, cancellations, and time until departure. This initiative aims to minimize missed flights and enhance passenger experiences at smart airports.
