Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) can significantly contribute to improving the mental health of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), by offering tools to monitor, diagnose and support their emotional state. Through behavioral and voice analysis systems, AI can recognize signs of anxiety, depression or other psychological challenges at an early stage, allowing for early intervention by specialists and caregivers. In addition, personalization- based AI applications can offer interactive exercises and stress management strategies, contributing to children's overall well- being and enhancing their psychological well- being. For this purpose, a semi- structured interview survey was conducted with 30 mental health specialists. Their responses were coded and the following channels emerged from their decoding: AI helps mental health through emotion recognition systems, through personalized stress management applications, and through daily observation and intervention suggestions.
