Abstract

This study assessed knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and vaccination among 252 women in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using a cross-sectional survey. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square tests, and logistic regression. Results revealed gaps in HPV awareness, misconceptions about vaccine safety and efficacy, and low vaccine uptake. Healthcare providers were identified as trusted sources of information. Findings highlight the need for culturally sensitive educational interventions, targeted social media communication, and greater community engagement to address vaccine hesitancy. Integrating HPV education into women’s health services may strengthen cervical cancer prevention efforts in the UAE. Clinical Trial Registration: Not Applicable.
