Abstract
With the rise of globalization and cultural openness, the Arabic language has gained increased attention among non-native speakers, creating new challenges in its teaching. This study focuses on "bridge words," which are common or conceptually related words between Arabic and other languages that aid in the language learning process for non-native speakers. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical and procedural survey methodology, utilizing surveys and interviews with Arabic teachers and non-native students. Additionally, educational texts containing bridge words were analyzed, and their impact was compared across different student groups. The findings indicate that the use of bridge words helps bridge the gap between the vocabulary of the native language and Arabic, facilitating early understanding of new vocabulary and concepts. Moreover, these words encourage active interaction between students and language resources, promoting smoother communication. The study also demonstrates that bridge words improve syntactical and morphological understanding of Arabic and increase learners' confidence. Furthermore, the integration of these words into curricula and the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing Arabic language learning online were found to accelerate the learning process and create an innovative interactive learning environment.
