Abstract
This paper introduces an AI-based C2C vehicle rental platform aimed at addressing challenges associated with prolonged automobile inactivity, particularly during holiday periods. The platform aims to mitigate issues such as engine deterioration and increased maintenance costs by encouraging users to rent out their vehicles when not in use. The methodology involves prototyping, with requirements gathered through surveys and interviews involving 200 participants aged 18 to 65, 21 of whom participated in in-depth interviews. The proposed application features distinct interfaces for vehicle owners and renters, with account creation and authentication requirements. Vehicle owners can manage offerings, access order information, and utilize AI features for estimated costs, while renters can browse vehicles by type and model, with AI-based search functionality available, a Chatbot is provided for user inquiries. Additionally, blockchain to secure both rights.
