Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to review the use of IoT in learning environments. It analyzes the literature concerning educational challenges within schools, focusing on the student's well-being and the utilization of technological advancement in the IoT domain to enhance the educational experience for students, teachers, and administrative staff. Furthermore, it aims to incorporate parents into the process by providing them with personalized analytics regarding their children's performance relative to their peers. This research focuses on four aspects of the educational system: Student performance, parental support, student health, and school management challenges. In addition, we have discussed some cases that can enhance various aspects of schooling through the use of IoT Technology in schools. We have as well proposed and early architecture to integrate IoT in school environments, to enhance the education system and facilitate timely actions by respective school teams.
